Hey /r/StockMarket, I'm doing a research project for school in which I'm looking into whether there is a correlation between sentiment on Twitter and stock prices, and also between weather and stock prices. Would any of you guys be willing to answer some questions on what kind of things I should be looking at, or where I can download data?
I'm based in the UK, so will probably be looking at ftse 250 data (as smaller companies are more likely to be affected by local weather changes, or by local tweets, as opposed to global ftse 100 companies), but if anyone else from other countries has any advice at all for a complete beginner that would be very welcome!
