After playing around with the stock market for awhile, I've decided to put most of my money into index funds. I'll still keep the stocks I have, but I'm aiming to have most of my portfolio be in stock market index funds as I'm interested in long term investing.
I have a Roth IRA on E-trade and I realized that the VFINX index that I wanted to invest in has a fee and I was wondering if it would just be better to switch brokerages so I don't have to worry about that fee when I invest.
Or does anyone know of other similar index funds like VFINX that don't have fees on E-trade? I couldn't find any.
Thank you!
