U.S. stock market on May 24, 2017: thoughts and outlook

There was a lot of news today:

  1. Moody's downgraded Chinese debt. China's problems aren't big enough to impact the U.S. yet.
  2. Crude oil production continues to rise. OPEC's extension has already been priced in.
  3. the Fed recognizes the recent weakness in U.S. economic data too.

Overall, the picture is not bullish for the medium term.
