122k subscribers and growing! We are looking for new mods!

I had previously written out this amazing post, but somebody did not like my sense of humor, so I banned them and now Im rewriting it anyway!

A couple of things I want to hit on and get your feedback about:

1) Welcome new arrivals! It is great to have you join us here at r/Stockmarket, we are a fast growing financial subreddit! Feel free to ask questions about stocks, trading and more!

2) WE NEED MORE MODS!

This sub has been growing fast, and a few of the older mods are burned out, so it is time to bring in some fresh blood! There are a few requirements to being a mod here, besides the perks like a company car and your own 19yr old personal assistant from Sweden (male or female, tell us your preference. Actually no, we get to choose for you, its funnier that way).

We are looking for mods that are active on this subreddit during market hours. Your duties will include the normal clean up of lazy posts and spam, but also to guide conversations and new traders get the answers they are looking for.

You need to be logged into our discord and will be given access to the mod chat area where you are expect to keep in touch with your fellow mods and be able to chat over voice when needed. The mod area in discord will cover both this subreddit and the live chat, but it is not your duty to monitor live chat.

2.1) As a mod you are also responsible for bringing important breaking news and what even the stock flavor of the day is to the subreddit for discussion. For example, today LULU is +10%, why is that? Is there an opportunity to fade that trade? Lets discuss!

We see a lot of people asking about chat rooms every week. Sometimes the person asking is doing so as a set up so that the persons buddy can come in and advertise their own chatroom.

Many times these chat rooms can be shady and looking to scam you, other times they are just a few friends hanging out. We do not have the time or resources to go investigate these things, so please, no linking discord chat rooms, doing so gets you banned.

The discord linked above is shared with r/investing and has some really great people in there. If you are an active trader and prefer live chat, please visit the above. If you are interested in helping bring content to the live chat and being a mod there, we are also happy to discuss that.
