TL:DR: Where do I start learning about how to invest/trade?
Hi everyone,
My grandmother opened a minor account for me back when I was under 18 then forgot about the balance in the account. Since then, I've transferred it into a new account and I have no clue where to invest. I keep seeing many different Three Letter Abbreviations, stock symbols, and other things I don't understand. I certainly don't want to jump in without a life jacket. Where do I go to start getting an understanding of what kind of investing I want to do? I know that a majority of people invest lose money on it (I'm sure I will too) but knowing how to invest/what to invest will be key. Where do I start?
