They expanded their airline service, which in short-term scared investors because of buybacks, but they’re building long term value for their shareholders (some of which are very faithful).
Get the dip. Now is the time to go long for UPS. Who cares if they’re scraping their 52W low right now, get long on it. They’re expecting boom growth in the coming quarters and are trying to get their speeds to match Amazon, and Amazon is working with them and FedEx for the time being until Amazon has their own airline. Their express delivery services are being expedited like never before, get long on UPS.
UPS expanding their air services into new hubs like Louisville are going to spoke-in and stake their claim on the mailing hubs for the next year. This will produce spectacular returns.
When everyone else is a bear, be a bull.
