Did you all know at least something about the SM before breaking into options trading?

For some reason after reading up on the stock market, it's almost impossible to tell which direction it's going to go and I also realize that high risk is high reward with this game. This is why I'm looking into Futures and Options as a starting point. Do I belong on r/wallstreetbets?
