Fed officials expected the economy to grow at a fast enough rate to put upward pressure on inflation, recently coming close to the central bank’s target.(https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fed-minutes/fed-officials-suggest-rates-likely-to-rise-soon-worry-about-trade-war-idUSKCN1L71XX) Many policymakers said the Fed would soon have to stop describing monetary policy as giving a boost to the economy. Simmering trade tensions with China will certainly have a major effect!!! :D
