As many are well aware there is an inevitable superficial bubble that comes with trendy investments such as cannabis. I have been experimenting with investing in various sectors over the past year or so, however I have noticed that the cannabis sector seems to be an oddball. It appears that share prices are not very indicative of fundamental values in this sector and rather are fueled solely by these dips or spikes around regulation news (assuming because it is still an emerging market.) For example, Aurora has been making major power moves and acquisitions and is now turning a profit, however the share price does not directly reflect this. Even with positive fundamentals being developed, the outlook is outweighed by negative sentiment in the markets. My question is what should investors expect going into 2019? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
